Someone to watch over me

I finally did it. It wasn't easy handing in my resignation letter, there was an awkward 10-second silence between my boss and I when it happened. Felt really bad I couldn't comply when he asked if I could stay till Aug before I leave because I've already signed the LOA with the new company.

Almost felt like crying when my boss sighed and wished me luck, even thou he's one of the worst tempered men I've ever met, he has his nice moments and sometimes he's like the gramps(because he's really old) I never had. I've grown a lil too attached here.

Plus I'm not a big fan of change, the whole stranger in a foreign place feeling. But it's high time I took this step out.

So... ya, in a month's time I'm going to hit the reset button on my life.

Sometime back the guys whipped up a really good meal at JR's. That's everyone listening attentively to the chef while I just fool around and wait for the eating to begin LOL.

Sunday after a facial with the girls. My complexion is in a serious need of help. Those tiny bumps on my forehead have been persisting since April. Trying out a home remedy and crossing fingers that it'll work, or I have no choice but to visit the beautician again for the much dreaded extractions..

Dinner at Nakhon with Debs. It's been awhile since we visited this place and their yellow curry squid never disappoints!

My birthday surprise at midnight! Debbie called at 12am to wish me happy birthday and said she's driving over with Johnson when I told her I'm doing nothing except staying home, and washing my clothes lol. Shock of my life when I walked to the lift and got surprise ninja-ed by the girls. According to Char, my reaction was rather slow haha check it out below!

Birthday dinner organised by the Monsterz. Yup I had like 0 plans for my birthday, not enthu at all haha. I was actually intending to just let it pass like that but the Monsterz suggested dinner despite me not being very cooperative about it at first, where to find such great gfs you tell me. But sorry all taken except one cutiepie, anyone interested? Very sweet girl, pretty, fun-sized & has contagious laughter ;)

Pre-ordered their Poulet Roti and it lived up to it’s signature dish reputation. Their appetizers, escargots and mussels were yum too but the mains were all quite meh.

Mojo and I shared a Chargrilled Tasmanian Ribeye and we didn’t even finish it. Tasted like a well-done despite requesting for the doneness to be medium rare.
