CNY DAY 1

Happy Snake Year everybody! Hope y'all have gathered enough fat angbaos for the 1st day :D 

Please remember not to buy shoes during this period of time, I've learnt my lesson from last year hah!

Mich & I, both with no relatives visiting to do, decided to hit Town to catch a movie. Every year I look forward to the empty streets in SG, I don't know why I find it so cool haha. But this year was quite different, non-chinese and foreigners aside, I spotted quite a lot of chinese youngsters?? Don't need to 拜年? Don't need to visit relatives? Got angbao don't want? Got gambling don't want? Weird..

When we arrived in Town around 1ish, still quiet and empty.

While waiting for our food, we started fooling around.

Hahaha the food was taking quite while, that explains the photo spam :D

My usual order of extra spicy mentaiko pasta, my 2nd fav rosti after Marche's, fried egg tofu(SOO GOOD) new on the menu, and some crazy ass huge chicken cutlet carbonara.  

The rest have learned to restrain me from over ordering these days, all but Mich. lol.
I'm always flipping thru menus going "shall we order this? shall we order that?", and her very standardized answer: "ok lo anything, ok lo anything" hahaha. Can't help it, I like eating, and eating like Kings, it makes me happy :p

Caught Stephan Chow's Journey to the West right after, everyone should go watch it! His movies always guarantee a good laugh, with no exception to this even though he's not tickling our funny bone by acting himself. I wouldn't mind watching it again for another laugh, albeit the demons in the movie were a lil too disturbing.. But it's definitely worth my popcorns #shutupandtakemymoney
