Lesson Learnt

Last week when I met up with Debs for dinner, I suggested heading to Sushi Express because it was relatively good for a 1.50/plate kinda place. They have expensive items like abalone and uni but on a very low frequency. So imagine my delight when I saw plates of uni sitting on the belt moving towards me.
But when chewing down on one sushi, I tasted something very VERY awful, like it had gone bad. Was also rather stupid for not spitting it out immediately. Should have been skeptical about uni that costs $1.50... because for the first time in my 22 years of life, I had a allergic reaction.

OMG it was so horrible I tell you. We were shopping at New Look then suddenly I felt itchy around my neck, back and under my eye. When I took a look at my reflection, rashes were forming like crazy!! I was so scared because I have NEVER been allergic to anything, but thanks to the uni, I had a huge freakout and I kept crying not knowing what to do.
After a hot shower, I googled desperately for home remedies and one site advised taking apple cider vinegar to bring the rashes down. SUPER THANKFUL I have it at home. Downed 2 tablespoons instead of 1 and forced myself to sleep at 3am because I had to wake early for Ohvola's covershoot.

When I woke up I took a deep breath before checking my body LOL, was very scared the rashes became worse but 谢天谢地 the bumps have went down and there was only slight red patches left. Downed 2tablesppons of ACV again before donning on a long skirt to Japanese Gardens to battle the hot sun. So, lesson learnt. Never believe in cheap uni anymore. And I don't think I'm ever gonna set foot in Sushi Express ever again.

Please flush the horrible images of the rashes out of your mind now hahahaha.

TGIF everybodyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! xx
