Good Times Roll; Bangkok

2 weeks back, us girls went on a 5-day trip to Bangkok, the land of smiles! Everyday was just waking up at comfort timings, food, shopping, more food and shopping. Ahhh, the life...

Before we flew off, we were treated to a really good meal at Itacho thanks to Aunty Lisa. Look at the amount of scallops!! Felt so pampered.... :D

First time flying by Scoot and we were rather pleased with the flight! I usually get very panicky during taking off and landing but Scoot brought us through it smoothly. *thumbs up

While we were busy settling down and snapping pics......

Ger just busied herself with the teevo.

Almost everyday I'll wake up to see her in her half asleep mode, sitting on the bed watching the teevo. And the funny part is, the movies were on repeat everyday!! Don't know how she could dedicate her mornings to watch the same movie over and over lol.

Walked past a random Youtiao stall while searching for a supper spot. It was such a pity it didn't open for the next few days, had no idea this was the popular YT Lu recommended!

Ended the night high and crazy with macs

Slept in late and started our day way past noon :p

Walking to and fro Siam DC and Paragon in a futile search for Korean BBQ

So we settle for Chabuton!

And did our nails after! My very first set of gelish nails!! <#

I'm gonna wear this to the Bigbang concert and tie my ribbon up high and hope that TOP will notice me.....  :D lol

Our last day, having 1-for-1 buffet.

The spread wasn't impressive but I guessed the desserts made it up for the rest! I was having the runs and had to skip dessert booo :(

& that's about all for our girls trip! Everything was perfect thruout this whole vacation, except towards the end when we were prepping to leave for the airport, Ger had a bad case of food poisoning. We were guessing it was the sticky rice the night before, as I only had 2 mouthfuls and had to run to the loo 3 times.
Poor Ger, the airport staff wanted to cancel her flight & she had to pretend she was alright in order to board it.
But during this slight unfortunate incident, it was very heartwarming to see strangers extending help to us, plus a few friends we ran into at the airport offering meds to our poor princess. Kindness prevails everywhere! :)
